Interesting, I'll have to check my S7k and see if it does this also, I purchased it in May of 2004, maybe we'llhome in on when this change took place if enough people check their cams.

Good idea Clyde,

I would be interested in learning that as well. Too bad there isn't a firmware upgrade to allow a lower ISO of 100 and the use of full resolution at ISO 800 in all modes. Fuji has obviously made some changes in the S7000 over the production run, too bad they didn't allow any firmware upgrades, I guess it may not have been possible with the hardware they were using in this camera.

Well, I like the S7000 even more now then I already did.
