Hi there, I have just registered and find the threads very educational.

I am just doing an upgrade, selling my Fuji S7000 plus accessories, and waiting for the new S9500 to arrive as soon as stock ships.

Unfortunately there is a gap between the 55mm and 58 mm in the S9500, so I need to get another Circular polariser and UV (protection) filters. Plus Cokin adapter. Drat.

Just Ordered A Manfrotto 055Pro tripod and a 484RC2 head.

I have done a few pictures with the S7000, which can be seen here: http://community.webshots.com/user/reveszp

Hope to learn some tricks on this board.

Welcome pr126,
Congrats on the new camera. I look forward to seeing some posts of your pics soon. I just wanted to mention that you might consider a simple step down ring to use your existing accessories with the new cam. They're only 5-10 dollars, and given the minor 3 mm difference, will not affect your picture taking at all. Just a thought.

Thanks for the welcome.

The step up ring would have been a good idea, but the buyer already knows the package I am selling. Too late to change.

Oh, well.
