Just read this review (another forum).

It is so positive for this camera, yet one reply.

Are we very negative?? or on the defence for Fuji.

http://trustedreviews.com/article.aspx?art=2072

Having reviewed the samples supplied, they look wonderful.

My personal opinion is that you either get a good S9500 or average.

Tolerance variation in manufacture??

I am currently talking to Fuji tech, as my S9500 auto focus is not consistant.

PS, Fuji tech (UK) told me they have email size limit (2m?).

Arnold.

Arnold1896

this review, although very positive, can not be taken seriously due to excessive usage of meaningless superlatives ("Amazing!", "Fantastic!", "The best!") and lack of any actual testing of the camera, what-so-ever.

Just another paid commercial, written by an ignorant clerk:

"the only one I've seen with better image quality is the Canon EOS 1DS MkII, which at £4700..." - come on, howdumb one can be?

X7497,

I must admit the review did seem brief andthat Fuji had assisted with the text content.

Arnold1896,

Motorbike photo is the only one having focus problem, as far as I can see.
EXIF says you took this picture at telephoto position of the lens, using shutter speed too slow for handheld shooting - thus no focus problems, justa simple camera shake.

The rest look okay, albeit on the "soft" side - this can be easily corrected in photoshop or any similar program.

=))

The review did not include any "lab" tests that would back up their claims of this being a "fantastic" or "amazing" camera. The fact is, this camera is NOT as good as a SLR. It does not produce the cleanest, sharpest pictures possible. But it is a good camera for the people who are looking for this type of a camera. Personally, I think all the reviews are worthless at this point. We have all been able to evaluate enough samples and read the responses of some of the people who have used this camera. If this is the kind of camera you want, then go purchase one. It doesn't matter what the reviews say. Every reviewer has their own agenda, and has a different viewpoint.
