Get it in writting or email. Press for details and a thorough report. Mr. Barker should respond to such a request.

I think Mr Barker may have been getting too many emails in regards to the S9X00. I received a reply thanking me for my email but the the email is no longer in use and to redirect everything to the [email protected]

So now I await their reply.........

Hmmmmm, I got this letter today and Fuji "clamed" they havent recived any S9000 to be serviced????????:O:shock:Somebody is NOT being upfront about this..

Dear Mr. Wood,

Thank you for contacting Fujifilm, USA's Contact Center. We appreciate the opportunity to be of assistance.

To date, we have had no Finepix S9000 sent into our repair facilities for any known issues. The only issues we notice consumer's complain about is the focusing or sharpness of the images. The issues they describe can be resolved by using the Anti Blur mode. When the Finepix S9000 is set to the Anti-Blur mode, the camera will select a faster shutter speed to reduce camera shake and moving subject blur. This mode will assist you in obtaining sharper images.

We sincerely hope that this information has been beneficial to you. If you should have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us again. It would be our pleasure to assist you.

Thank you for your interest in Fujifilm Digital Imaging products and services.

Respectfully,
Contact Support Agent

I cant believe that they would sit there and write that back. Im sure a few S9000 have went back, but for them to say that they havent had ANY in for repair is strange. What do you think??

They told me that they had never had any faults reported whatsoever, when I knew they had. See the late Mr. Barker's response in this thread or one of the others.
