Hello All,

This one butterfly took advantage of a sliver of the lowering afternoon sun.
Without many other flowers around, these were the few still in the sunshine.
This butterfly kept returning to pose for me over and over. I stood still and
enjoyed the encounter.
My S9000 was on Macro mode:

Hi Nick,

I can see that the butterfly loves to pose for you.

I like the last shot, #5.

I'm not anywhere done modifying my camera yet, already put a sheet of transparency over the LCD to protect it from scratch, some cosmetic things... Just finished to make a battery pack for my Vivitar flash, using Radio Shack stuff, with the battery pack I can shoot non-stop. The good thing about the S9500/9000 is you can buy any used flash on the market, any accessory from 35mm film cameras works well with this camera too.

Hello All,

Glad you liked the monarch.

Coldshot, Can you post an image of your homemade battery pack?

I would really like to see it. I have 4 Vivitars.

I just made 'adapters' to enable me to use my Canon 550EX's ( not TTL ) with my S9000.

Regards, Nicholas

Nick,

You want to add more fire power to your flash, this must be very serious.:-)

Anyway, I've sent you the pics of the battery pack with instruction, check your email.
