Well I just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks trip to Italy, and on my way I picked up an S9500 in Dubai. A couple of gripes and pluses real quik:

The 60fps mode does not allow you to use the focus check, so my camera stays in 30fps mode.

The eye LCD really needs to be a higher quality screen, it is really too grainy for manual focusing situations and difficult with DOF photos to know if it is what you are wanting

The low light performance is fantastic, it is worth it to upgrade from the S7000 just for that reason IMO

The manual zoom isa godsend, makes the camera so fast turning on you should never miss a shot waiting for the camera to turn on, plus the focal range is pretty much perfect unless you are a bird watcher.

Now for some of my photos!
