Hello All,

A Revised Zoom Test of my S9000:

Tripod, 2 Sec Timer, ISO 80, Aperture Priority f7.1, Exp Comp - 1/3.

Saved original images as Tiff and then made 100% crops of 1000 pixels wide, 2614 pixels high, saved as Jpegs. All crops from center of original images of 9 mp, Fine.

No post Processing at all:

Now the Digital zoom is really good. No real difference to the Non digital.

Yes, Please ignore my first Zoom Test posting.

Isn't it amazing.

At 600 mm Digital Zoom you can see the graffetti on the top level windows, as well as nuts and bolts on the surface of the structure, all with no PP (which would improve the images).

Hi Nicholas

Yes the digital zoom is amazingly good. Here is a photo taken hand held from a car window. The builings are 3 miles away across the bay, on quite a hazy day. Some pp of course.

Remarkable.

You can see the tree's branches at their apex,

the S9000 is a very good camera.

Fuji makes good lenses for digital cameras andcommercial video systems,they are made at Fujinon.
