Took the 9500 out this morning and shotentirely in ham-fisted Auto mode as many new buyers would do initially. These are random results - No pp other than a sharpen here & there and resizing.

Seems such a shame you got one of the faulty ones Steve. Have you contacted Fuji yet? What did they say? Hope they replace it soon.

Ooops! Double post, but I guess it needs saying again . . .

Sorry to see you got one of the faulty ones Steve. Have you contacted Fuji yet? What did they say? I hope they replace it pretty darn sharp.

Steve, I ran your "P6" pic through the image analysis software I have. Take a closer look at this crop from the lower left corner. Seems to show some barrel distortion and a heck of an amount of noise. I would point this out to Fuji!

Hope this helps. Don't be too disapointed as there are some good ones out there. My third is fine!
