[align=left]Has anyone done any studio style portrait work (pc synched strobes and umbrellas) with the s9000? I'd really appreciate seeing a sample or two. Thanks in advance.

A while ago I took some pictures in a friends studio with my S9500, this is one of the shots I took.

Thanks for your posting. I had been looking into the s9000 and was concerned with the softness of images that are posted on the web but believed much of it was due to user error. I ordered the s9000 and am expecting delivery in two days. I discovered that running the s9000 images in PS with the unsharp mask makes a tremendous difference as well as does just sharpening in PS. I am a former pro who judges everything by ektar 25 film stock quality. No doubt an unreasonable standard to expect from a digital of 9megs but I believe that this camera can take me back to a quality level that is more than acceptable.
