Just a random pic that I took a few weeks ago, fully auto…

Nice detail. Did you use the super macro mode?

Very nice Kef - sharp and definitely conveys the bite of an english spring:G

Thanks and yes it gets sharp on this side of the world. As far as I can remember I used the macro mode, the rest was just plain lazy auto. I was on a cold mornings walk, the angle of the branch, compared to the angle of the dead leaf caught my attention. Took a moment to compose it and took less time to get my hands back into my pockets!!

I think its important that S9500 users that are happy with their camera's start posting more shots. Just to get away from the continuous "whats wrong now" threads. Just to remind people that it's a handy little camera that does exactly what it says on the tin. Great price, great results – not a DSLR.

I wouldn't call it little, but you're right, this camera is great.

Nice pic BTW. IMHO a little cropping can make it even better, there is too much empty sky around the leaf.

Ok, maybe not "little", :-)but its not the heaviest or the most awkward camera I've ever held. Over all I find that it feels comfortable in my hand and that certainly helps.

I'll give the cropping a go - least I will when I get around to fixing my home PC
