Hi I need some advice, Iwill be going to deep sea fishing and i would like to take pictures with my S5600. The question is, will the saltyair and windcan damage the electronic circuit and othe parts of the camera. Please give me some advice of how to protect the camera from the salty wind andair.

I would say, yes, it is safe.

Unless the manual says "This camera cannot be taken anywhere near sea shore or boat". Which it does not.

But try not to go swimming with it. :lol:

I took my S5100 to Alaska last summer, and we spent quite a bit of time on the water. Camera still works just fine. Just take normal precautions to protect it as much as possible. It is a well-known fact that saltwater damages automobiles, but that doesn't stop people from driving to the ocean.
