Hi,

Will the s9500 take very good pictures at a concert on auto from about 5 rows back from the stage?

Does anyone have any photo's to post from a indorr concert or something similar.

Hi Amanda,
I haven't taken any myself but my sister has. She had the camera on full auto and was a little further back than 5 rows, the results were spectacular. All joking aside you could almost see up the noses of the guys on stage! Very clear shots for a concert.

Funnily about half way through the concert she was approached by one of the security guards, it seems the official photographer was complaining about her. He didn't like the look of the S9500 in action, nor the way she was timing her shots – she wasn't just "pointing and shooting" like everyone else around her. Anyway the security guy just laughed it off, she said he was just questioning her to get yer man off his back.

Here using full zoom and 1600iso : as you can see lowlight and quite far from the stage, however I like the effect;
