Can anyone tell me can the fuji s7000 be used as a webcam

Yes it can. I have used it with Yahoo and many other application that requires a webcam. As long as you have the USB cable it should work and you will also need the ac adapter or you will drain your batteries..

Thank you for the reply it would probley cost as much for the adapter as it would to buy a cam ,was it a good picture?

Excellent picture really. The only problem is too many cords. I had to have the power cord for the camera and then a USB cord from the camera to the PC...But it might just be cheaper to by a cheap webcam for the PC I think you might be able to catch them on sale around $50 or $60
