Hi all!

I have a Fujifilm Finepix F420, and I was wondering if there is a way of attaching it to the computer via USB, and using the computer to manipulate the camera (eg preview photos on screen and actually take the photo with the computer). The only software that came with the camera lets me download photos from the camera (not take them in real time) and to do some sort of low-res video talk. Is there some sort of software I can download? I searched the web for ages but had no luch...

Thanks in advance for your help!

Your camera is a super compact consumer level digital camera. It would be unrealistic to expect such advanced technologies to be built into such a camera. A couple of Fuji models, the S2 Pro and the S9000 will accommodate a USB cable release, but there is no software available for either of those cameras for remote control. I suspect you're going to have to look to a much more professional level of photography to find the features you are looking for.
