Here's another just in case. You can see some PF along the edges of the window and in the foliage at far left, but nothing out of the ordinary considering the circumstances. These pics taken at full zoom in the highest-contrast conditions I could find in an effort to induce PF. The fact that I had to work to get a pic with noticeable levels of PF tells me that Germain's S5200 has some problems probably relating to the lens. We're taking the grandkids to the Armstrong Fair now, so I won't be posting on this subject again for a while.

Hi - I have the S5200. I am fairly new to photography but I have taken many photos with the zoom and never noticed the purple outline. I will try and take some tomorrow and watch for it.
