Hi all! I liked the outcome of this photo I shot because of the nonchalant look in both the cow and the goat!
Hope you all get a bit of a laugh from it! :G Taken in Romania,March 2005. |

Hillarious! My brother had a goat that did that with a horse. The horse didn't mind at all. He would also go to the post where the cat was sitting so the cat could climb on his back and go for a ride.
Great shot!! Rose |

Yeah, exactly "no big deal" and believe it or not when I returned to the barn an hour after I took this photo they were still like that. A very relaxed couple, but I wonder those goat hoves must get a bit irritating after a while...! :O I like your hat by the way! (in your photo below the name). If you live "somewhere VERY cold, USA" that sounds like Romania in the winter... I'm from Australia originally, definitely a warmer place there! :-) Thanks for your reply, coz it's my first day of every posting photos on any forum, and I had another photo (in the close-up section), so you are my second "replier"! Actually I DID have a goat once, it (of course) ate everything, including the spreading blackberry plants (brambles? - don't know what you call them in USA) for which it was mainly purchased. But of course after a while the goat was a part of the family, more than just a mobile blackberry control item!! Have a good day further! It's almost evening now here in Romania... but still light that's good! (ah, long summer days!) |

Hello Rose / Mommy_Culleton! Thanks also for your post and for saying you enjoyed the shot! Did you ever make any photos of your brother's goat on the horse? Well, we might have to start a "goat-rodeo" forum to see more along this theme!! Interesting to read that you said it would go to the post so the cat could join too! Hope you're enjoying some nice summer days in Canada, I guess that's usually colder than USA, right?! |

no I don't have any of those photos but I'll ask my brother.
The weather today is a bit chilly......only 22 celcius but last weekend it was 27!! That's a bit warm for this time of year. In July it should be at least 30 most days. Our weather is much the same as the north part of the USA. The south would be much warmer I'm sure but at least we don't have earthquakes and tornados!! If my brother has any photos I will post them for sure. Rose |

Hi Rose!
I don't want to start a discussion here too much on the weather (I'm sure there are other places to do that!) :-) but hope you'll have and enjoy warmer weather soon. I love weather in the 30's - especially if at aswimming place! Thanks for checking out if your brother has any photos of "farm friends" goat (& cat)? standing on horse! I'll be looking out for it. Best wishes for the week Paul |

Here is an idea. Steve needs to add a caption contest forum. The only comments allowed on the posts are possible captions for that photo. Yours would fit very well in this new forum.
