Hey JoshuaB...
Nice series... Lends new definition to term "snowPACK". I dont envy those car owners. Kudos to you for just making it to work today! ![]() |

Having "suffered" the same storm as you, Joshua, I have huge appreciation of your photos. They're photo journalism without need of captions to tell the story.
For those of you living in much warmer climes, don't forget that, though our weather can go to some fairly miserable extremes, we northerners have the photo opportunities provided by those very same extremes. This, I tell myself as I prepare to venture out into 16 degrees, hope my car starts, and then think "whee!" as I skid down the hill from the house. |

We didn't get it that bad during that storm, but last year we got 30 inches President's Day weekend. I'm glad I have a garage, but it took us 2 1/2 days to dig out!

Joshua,
When I lloked at the first photo I thought it was a bad frosting job on someone's birthday cake, then I remembered your caption and looked at the rest of the photos. Very good collection of photos. Reminds me of the five years I spent in Chicago. |
