Wild car Frank. How fast was it going when you saw it? All he needs now is a set of those driving goggles from the 20's and a scarf trailing behind him in the wind.

P.S. I particularly like the muffler on the side, must be a little loud so add earmuffs to the above list of attire :G

Well, ItIS a wild car.

That Engine looks like something that powered the second World War Fighter Planes.

It is either a Allison V1710 used in the P51 Mustang, ora Rolls Royce Merlin as used in the English Spitfire Fighter plane, well known from the Battle of England.

The Rolls engine was also made in a version for fighting vehicleswith the name of Meteor, usedinthe Centurion Main Battle Tank, that was introduced very late in the second World War.

These Engines are allV12 and the thing that put me on it, is the Valve cover and the very FAT exhaust tubes,

That's really quite powerful indeed! That's not street legal though right? Since it's not street legal, then maybe he should get some wider tyres for it hehehe. And maybe have to make the car wider, and also have some fins for downforce. I'm afraid that the engine is much too powerful for this poor little car hehehe

That engine came from a Spitfire?
The body of the car is really strange, sounds to me like a Bugatti.

Can you drop some lines about the history of that car?

obviously not street legal... no license plates, fenders, or lights. does it have an exhaust on the left side as well? also fairly obvious it's either a home-built vehicle, or possibly a kit car. judging by the driver's hands, he'd been working on it recently... perhaps out for a test drive?

And I thought it was just us Brits that stuck RR V12's in cars, in fact, they are pretty common over here and are ROAD LEGAL. Somehow a V8 isn't enough for these pilots.
