The sport you are shooting determines the equipment you will use. When I shoot football, I am using either a 300 or 400 2.8, both with and without extenders. For hockey, I use my 80-200 with a 1.4 extender. For basketball, I am using my 85 under the net, and my 300 for the other end of the court. It's all what you are shooting.

I don't do much, but I have been playing about at recent high school stuff near me. Since my one bigger lens is a Sigma 80-400 OS, I am somewhat limited at this point for sports.

The lenses are numerous.. depending on the situation. but the camera is allways the same Nikon D2h..Fastest thing with a shutter.. Dale
