I have some 8X10 prints I want to frame and was wondering where people buy frames. I've noticed prices at Ofoto are reasonable ($22) but you have to pay a bit much for shipping, around $7. I just want a classic black gallery style frame. Thanks.

Try a look at a wally mart, they sometimes have some real good prices on standard sized frames.

You could try:

I've been told that their prices are a bit high, but the quality is good. Since I don't know what "high" means, it might work for you (or be too much.)

I would suggest large hobby stores... around here (Missouri) that means Hobby Lobby or Michael's. They have a range of quality, including fairly inexpensive black metal frames. And often, one or both of the stores will have decent sales, even on stock, ready-madeframes.

You should consider buying a mat cutter and learning to use it. Properly cut mats will make your framed photos look great. It's easy to do, but does take a little practice. I give away a lot of matted framed pictures and they are very welcome presents. I buy give-away frames at Wal-Mart

I second the matting comment. It isn't as much hard as requiring attention to detail. And it definitely makes the pictures look better.
