That figure is simply what Canon states is suitable for its Large resolution images. As far as getting photo quality 6x4 prints, I guess the solution lies in setting my camera to the lowest compression (SuperFine) and Large resolution (keep in mind I have an A400 which has just 3.2 megapixels). I have another question for those of you who print your pictures: do you usually print 6x4 photos or 8.5x11 or bigger? |

You will never have a problem reducing a photo to a smaller size. Infact the smaller the picture the better the quality. Personally I love 5x7's. Their perfect for photo albums, not too big and not too small. Plus most people get 4x6's and 3.5x5, it kinda makes it stand out, kinda.
