Hey guys I have a problem...
I found in my house a digital camera which I don't know how came to my house...
Anyway there is no brand on it, no tag, nothing... The only thing that is written on it is DIGI CAM, and the Lens ofcourse... Nothing else. No brand, no company.

I bought a USB cable to connect it to the PC, but it won't recognize it. I think I need a driver or something... But I can't find any driver to install to it...
I don't have the book which comes with it, I only have the camera itself.

I know you guys are professional and you will know what to do.
Please, help me. There's nothing I want more than this camera, and I don't have money to buy one.

Thanks.

You might be out of luck if there is nowhere on the camera to identify it. If you have Windows XP and it won't recognize the camera, you likely need the manufacturers software installed first. Do you have a friend with a digital camera that could take a few pictures of the camera from different angles and then post them here? Someone is likely to recognize the camera just by the pictures. Then you could look for the proper software and users manual.

Well thanks for the help Grant, but I'm not sure any of you saw such cam...
It looks just like ordinary camera which is not digital, it doesn't even have a flash and a screen... I'm sure it's something that worth about one dollar, but I don't have money for other cam...

Anyway, I have friends with cams, I'll try to get you a few pictures of it =]

Thank you very much, and maybe I'll be lucky and one of my friends who told me she has a digital camera she doesn't need, will give it to me...

Thanks guys...

DigiCam is a cheapo brand here in Canada.. Found at discount stores, etc.

So do you think I can find something to download, so it will connect with the computer?

I'm sure you've googled it.. Past that, I have NO idea. Sorry.

If the camera has a removable media card, youshould be able to use a card reader to download to the comp. If not ..... you're probably out of luck!

I'm guessing your computer doesn't have XP. Most cameras are loaded automatically with XP but you often need drivers with older operating systems.

Is this is the camera? http://cgi.ebay.com/AOL-DigiCam-Digi...QQcmdZViewItem

If it is you might try this driver: http://members.driverguide.com/drive...riverid=118593

Thanks man, but I do have windows XP, and it still won't find...
The camera you show me is not exactly it, but it is something like that, so I'll try the driver anyway, thank you very much =]
I'll write soon with the results
