If the object is to take great pictures then I guess it doesn't matter what medium you use. In any case, digital or film, you are going to have to become familiar with the tools. So, my feeling is that anything that you learn in one medium can likely be transferred to the other. You still have to deal with light and exposure and lenses etc.
On the other hand, if you do shoot film and scan the best shots for posting...with no indication of whether they were film or digital, NOBODY will notice. So, take every opportunity to learn everything you can about every aspect of photography. |
