Going to Italy with Olympus C5050zoom. At home I use a SanDisk reader to transfer pictures to my computer. Will not be taking computer so assume I will have to store all pictures . Is compact flash the most efficient way to do this? Any other suggestions for managing pictures will be appreciated.
thanks John |

you actually have several options with some stand alone data storage. SmartDist has several models, Epson makes the P-2000 and P-4000, also Jobo, &Wolverine. Check out B&H Photography. They range in size from about 20GB to 80GB and most have multiple card readers built in. Some have LCD to view the pictures after they are stored and some don't, depends on how much you want to spend. There are also portable CD and DVD burners that are stand alone also. I picked up an off brand from e-bay that uses a 20GB laptop memory card, and can read 7 types of memory cards.
