Hi !

If-by fault-I pushed simultaneous all the directions of the 4-way controller there are now some possibilities to damage it ?

You'd probably have better luck getting responses if you let members what camera model you have. ;-)

I wouldn't think most cameras could be easily damaged pressing the 4-way controller unless you used excessive force though.

Of the cameras I have seen and used, pushing on all four corners at once is the same as pressing the center button, which is like the 'Enter' key on your computer. Not likely to harm anything, unless, as JimC says, you push way too hard.

Only if you do it with a hammer. :-)

Only if the camera's firmware programmers configured that as the self-destruct sequence in case you don't want your camera to fall into enemy hands. =)

Most likely no harm done, the camera will ignore that combination of buttons pressed.
