hi
i m going to by Sony dsc H1. But my friend told me to by 6 or 7 MP cam. cose he said when we look the pics on comp it looks good but when we print it then its lose the quality. like if i print the pic 4x6 is the pic gona lose the quality?

absolutely not. If you print at 4x6, even 8x10 or beyond you will not see a difference between 5 and 6 or 7 megapixels.

Definitely not. That advice is not true. 5mp is more than enough to print good 6 x 4 prints. Over the years I've had 5 digi cameras, from 2mp to 9mp. Using a good printer with good inks & paper, 8 x 10" prints from even the 2mp cameras have been satisfactory.
