Nope.

Agree with TCav,
security surveillance cameras are not photography,
have absolutely no use for them in that regard.

Probably is. Did you click the little red triangle at the bottom left and report it to the moderators?

I saw the post when it was first made, and checked the e-mail address, member name and ip address against databases of known spammers and they came up clean.

I also found that the same person made some queries on another camera site (using a user name beginning with regina, which is what the member her says here name is), and in one post, asked for cheap alternatives after the replies about it's video.

So, given the evidence (or lack thereof), I decided to let the post stand here.

Yea... the member name chosen (here versus the other site the queries were made on) does raise some red flags. That's one reason I went to the trouble I did to research the poster here). But, there is no evidence that the member is a spammer at this point.

So, lets be careful about declaring a member is a spammer without harder evidence. ;-)

IOW, in cases where a post is not obviously spam and you're suspicious, just send me a PM about it. That way, we're not going to embarrass new members that may not be spammers.

Thanks.

For surveillance type camera I use Fosscam. Have one set up to monitor my 96 year old dad and it works very well, good picture with remote movable head and two way sound. The camera can be accessed from our home computer or any cell phone if you have the login name and password.

Yup, spam, didn't catch that before I posted. Gee hope my post about a different brand of surveillance camera didn't hurt their feelings.:p:D
