Any help?
I would like to burn the video about the happy time of my parents and me to DVD and carry with me. And I need a kind of software that can directly burn my video, not some complicated DVD burn application. Anybody would be some of help? This video was made by my JAC HD camcorder. Thanks.

Most computers can do that without any fancy applications. What computer do you have or have access to?

Tcav is right. Its probably a PC you have since most people make the mistake of getting those instead of a Mac. Well the software that plays your movie is the same that will burn it to disk. Windows Media.

You need to convert files to a suitable MPEG format first, MPEG-1 for VCDs
or MPEG-2 for DVDs. http://www.deskshare.com/resources/a...vdformats.aspx Look at video software that comes with the PC, or camera, to see if it gives you what you want, if not check the web, there are lots of video editing software packages that allow you to edit and burn and there are also free programs that convert or burn for example cdburner-xp (burns Cd's and DVDs) and SUPER (video format converter) that can be downloaded from the web. There are some video players that will play MPEG-4 or DIVX files as well as other video or audio formats. |
There is a program called DVDflick - freeware- which is really easy to use, and will make a DVD from nearly any video format.

Through Google search, I found Handbrake, WinX HD Video Converter, Media Maker etc. These applications could fulfill this task. Handbrake is freeware, but it cannot load files from YouTube. WinX HD Video Converter could download videos from YouTube, and has a lot of output formats, but it is shareware. Media Maker could burn videos from folder, website etc, but it is so expensive and time limited.
