I'd tend to disagree
![]() Our combined clubs have several hundred members and while there are members from all age ranges the majority are 50+. The split is about 50/50 with those about to retire and those that have retried. The first d100's and 10d's to show up were to members close to their 70's, they were also the first ones to show up with amazing 13*19 images from epson 2200's. It seems the photo-bug infection is quick to jump in and take up all available time and cash. I can't wait to retire. I'm already out of time and especially cash.   |

Count me in the category of close to being retired.....and looking forward to having more time to pursue photography. I don't post that often on this site, but check it out daily.

Im still in the middle of my 22. SO I still have PLENTY of time to learn more about this art called photography. Hopefully by the time I'm around 50, I'll be as good as all of you pro's out there. But then again, when I hit 50, cameras will be soooo technologically advanced that anyone can be a pro. Just my theory..

Dare I say, I'm in that 31-35 age group. I was tempted to click 21-30, but I'll be honest. I, too, am hoping to learn, learn, learn. The older I become, the more I realize how little I truly know.

I am not retired do not plan on it. Plan on starting new career in a couple years after I retire off my second job. My wife's mother is 83 and still manages a 1500 acre farm. She drove 450 miles from Amarillo, TX to El Paso, TX to be with us for Christmas. |
