About 2 years ago, I was on a fishing trip of a life time and just as I was getting off the boat, my camera magically disappeared including my memory disk with several hundred irreplaceable pics. Memory cards are much less expensive today but it still seems wise to have a way of backing up pics when on such a trip. When I am on the boat, I don't have the luxury of packing a laptop so I am considering one of the devices that automatically copies the pix to an internal harddrive of some sort.

Can someone recommend a good, inexpensive backup device. Good and inexpensive my be an oxymoron, but let's see!

Some have more features than others. For example, card types supported, file types supported for viewing on screen (some can display images from raw files taken by specific cameras), screen size and type, battery life, drive sizes, etc.
