Default best digital camera for microscopic photos

I would like feed back on which digital camera others think would be the best to use for taking photos through a microscope. I would like to send these pictures directly to my computer for storage if possible. Also would like this camera to be used for macro photos as I take pictures of small objects close up. I require crisp detail as these photos are used to list items on Ebay. I also enjopy taking pictures of wildlife and flowers so the camere needs to be flexible.

I can certainly advise you to avoid the Nikon CP4500. It has a very good macro and is a decent all-round camera but I've still to find a way of using it successfully through a microscope. I believe that earlier Nikon CPs such as the 990/995 were ok. You'd have to look second hand.....

Have a look at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CoolpixPhotoMicMac
