Default Buy a macro lens or new camera?

I have a canon pro90 and I need to get set up to take some macro pics of coins. Should I buy a good macro lens for the canon pro90 (can you even add a macro lens to the pro90?) or should I buy a new camera like the Fuji s7000 thats supposed to takes such good macro shots? Thanks Jim

Buy a set of macro lenses +1, +2 and +3.

You will save a few hundred clams.

Your camera can accept 58mm filters so you should be able to find macro diopters fairly easily. In addition to generic +1 +2 and +3 diopters you could splurge and get a two element supplementary lens that Cannon (250D) or Nikon offer. The two element lenses will give you less distortion. With you having a 'super' zoom lens I'd definitely try out the camera and supplemental lens combo before buying. It might not give you as much magnification as you want.
