cannot post a photo.

Why does my photo not show up? I put it on an old web site I had, and linked to it just like instructions said, but no luck.

Not to shortsell you, but you obviously didn't do it right since others can post photos here. The easiest method is to cut and paste the url into the message area, highlight it and press the IMG button above the message edit box.

You have to
1) click on the IMG button: the [IMG] tag appears onscreen; note that the IMG button now has an asterisk by it.
2) Paste the photo's url to the screen behind the tag.
3) click on IMG again, so the [/IMG] tag appears onscreen at the end of the url.
4) All done.
Your case is special since the yahoo provider seems to be one of those that doesn't like people to link to its photos directly. It may not appear here unless you paste the url into your browser's address line, go there, and then come back here. YMMV.

nah cant get it to work, its easier for me just to supply the address for people to go into.

Perhaps the problem lies with your hosting site.

I donít think you can do that from Yahoo or most free sites. They need a separate address for a picture and have to link a picture rather than a web site when you access the url with .jpg or whatever they require tacked on the end. The redhead picture you are trying to link displays the entire web page when you go to the address with .jpg at the end, so I donít think you are going to get it to work.
