Default Canon Digital Elph 330 or Canon A60?

I'm about to buy a digital cam... Was supposed to buy the Digital Elph 330 until I realized that it's a model that was released for about a year ago.

I lik the layout/design of the Digital Elph better than the A60, but is it such a good idea to invest $400 usd (both models costs that here in sweden) in a camera model that's a year old?

What do you think? Should I buy the newer A60 or the older Digital Elph 330? Or are both equal in quality and such so it doesn't matter?

Thanks in advance!

If you like the s330 better and you can get it new with a warranty, go for it. The c4000, cp4500 and the fuji s602 are all probably at least a year old now, or almost that, yet they are still some of the most popular cameras out there. The oly 2100 is several years old and no longer in production, yet I've seen people shell out a small fortune on a refurb. model. This just goes to show you that the age of the model does not matter as long as you are happy with it.
