I bought Canon IXUS 60 with SanDisk SD Extreme III 1GB, instaled ZoomBrowser EX software on my Windows XP. When I connect camera on PC via USB, I hear the sound, I saw installation of new hardware (just first time ofcourse) but my camera is invisible on my PC. I can't even start Canon CameraWindow. What is wrong? Maybe some services are disabled - I had some services disabled in the past as I didn't need them (Windows Image Acquisition, Human Interface Device Access...) but they are on now and again nothing happens. My workplace PC can see camera no problem, without any Canon or other software instaled. Please help.

Thank you

as long as u got your camera turned on to correct mode for conecting to pc xp should see it as another storage device....not by camera but by make of card.....ie it dont see my olympus it sees toshiba1go2 and calls it drive (I)

failing that a card reader should work

It also may be seeing is as the same drive letter as another drive you already have in which case you just need to re-name the drive letter for the camera. But I would recommend a card reader anyway. They download much faster and don't use up your battery.
