Hi all,
I live in Orense, Spain and last week i wanted to buy the CASIO EX-Z850 in a reputable chain-store here.
They didn´t have this camera in stock so they would ordered from the CASIO main store in Madrid. But next day they called me back saying that in Madrid they told him: " the CASIO EX-Z850 has been DISCONTINUED and that they didn´t know if they woulc continue selling it in the near future"..... um, very WEIRD!!!

Does anybody know what happened with this camera?? Did CASIO find a problem with it??Or maybe a marketing strategy??(pretty bad strategy, in such case, sincevacation sales are on the boom now!!)

This makes me doubt about buying this camera somewhere else!!!

It hasn't been discontinued by Casio. Call or e-mail Casio's Spanish distributor and ask them. http://www.casio-europe.com/euro/sup...stributors/dc/

I would try another store. Casio lists a distributor in Barcelona and not Madrid.
