Apparantly the neck strap was not installed correctly and as I hung it from my neck it just completely unraveled and fell on the hard concrete!!
I paid $400 for this thing! I played with it a bit and it seems like everything is fine, zoom, fstop, white balance setting, etc. Is there anything else I should inspect or check to make sure its working. There seems to be one problem, but it could be a user error, I took a picture of a subject and it looks different from the lcd to the review screen. While I am looking at it live it looks great, but then when I take the shot it looks slightly different in color, seems to be a yellowish cast. I cant believe this happened! The body does have a few nicks not major, but noticeable so I probably cant return it. I bought it from a local adray camera shop. |

most probably you need to adjust the white balance if the yellowish cast appears on photos taken indoor.

Yeah I did this, but why does the captured picture differ from the preview?
Thanks. |

Bec the live view is "as it is" while the shot is affected by the White balance setting
