In Portugal, where I live, it is almost impossible to have a replacement for a broken CCD on my Nikon Coolpix 5700.

Knowing the CCD is Sony's, I have contacted Sony Portugal. They told me they can supply the CCD to me, as long as I know its Sony reference.

Can you please help me?

UNLESS YOU HAVE THE TALENT to swap it out.... IF YOU CAN GET THE PART YOURSELF to change it if and 5700 should be... out of warranty, likely the LABOR cost would make it not really worth doing.... and given its failing/passing level of technology.... and vs cost moving up some would be near same cost vs same cost in labor and staying at that several years old level of things.
