hi everyone,

I posted not too long back with a topic about going to a concert (coldplay to be exact). And the problem was i didnt have a good enough camera to take along with me. However, my friend has let me borrow his camera to take to the condert. It's a Pentax Optio S60. I was wondering how well that camera performs in low lighting conditions? I dont have to worry about distance, because the seats I have are in the upper bowl (Air Canada Centre), but fairly close. It's just the darkness that i'm worried about Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

it really depends on how 'close' you are.

I managed to fight front at a KT Tunstall gig last Oct and still only managed to get average photos.

One note, the photo is without flash. I have a thing about using flash at a gig cos unless you're at the front barrier, the camera isn't gonna focus properly (and do you really want to be fiddling with your camera at a concert?
