Default Decisions Decisions!!

Hello everyone! I am new to this site and am hoping to get some guidance. After 100's of hours of research, I have narrowed my choices down to these three: Minolta Dimage A1, Fuji Finepix s7000, and the much anticipated Sony Cybershot DSC F828. COuld anyone give me their preference and reasons why. I would sincerely appreciate it. I can wait for the Sony(including the price) if you all think it's worth the wait. Thanks!

Hi Jackie.....

Welcome to the forum

Sorry, I am not familiar with your cams but perhaps
you could share your "photo goals"...ie, what you
hope to capture in your photos...

....just a thought.

I agree with the A1 and the F828 as well, but here some food for thought:
o A1 - 4.61" x 3.35" x 4.47" @ 19.8 oz.
o F828 - 6 3/16" x 3 9/16" x 5 5/16" @ 2lb 3 oz.

So yes the F828 is quite a camera, but its size and weight are quite impressive as well (it can actually put a few larger dSLR/lens into shame)!

As a reference a 300D body is only: 5.6 x 3.9 x 2.9 @ 19.7 oz (+ another 3.6 oz for the EF-S 18-55)
