Default Developing Digital Prints

Some questions about developing digital prints.

Anyone found a good online lab they are happy with? I have used shutterfly and dotphoto so far. Any suggestions?

Should I use a local lab instead? Other than quality and price, what are some things to look for in a good lab?

What resolution should be used for 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10 to produce quality prints that rival a SLR?

Fuji labs in UK are outputing 300dpi, some other labs can do 400dpi. If you really want cam pix per dot, Multiply out the print sizes to see if you have the cam to match! Think you'll fine their print res. will be better than your cam.
