Hello all,
I just recently bought the A610. Its a wonderful camera. I bought it @ B&H in NYC. The guy asked me if I wanted the 5 year warranty... I wasnt to sure. I could register online if I want it. So my question is do you think its' worth it?? Do I really need it you think? I have a year warranty with the product. did anyone else get the warranty for the extra years? thanks. |

This topic came up several months back. Check out this thread:
http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...extended+store There is way more info in there than I care to repeat. In my opinion ,the general answer is no they are not worth it - if you are an "average" user. Some people think otherwise and the issues are well discussed in that thread. Eric |

No! inone year your marvelous electronic piece of junk, will be so outdated it wont be worth the price. If it quits after the initial year throw it in the trash, and buy another - that's what the manufactures want you to do anyway.

Definitelly not, digital cameras improve so fast that in five years you wont be using this one for sure ;-)
