I think the former means Digital Still Camera but what does the latter(DMC) mean?
I cannot find it mentioned anywhere! Newbie of sorts. Thanks. pics. |

Don't knowwhy they would choose that! Goodasany other I guess but why can't these camera companies get creative but simple! |

Think I just learned how to attach a pic thanks to Moderator's post
with instructions at beginning of forum page! Thank you. Hope it works. BuckyBadger, While you were telephoning Panasonic I was researching their web site. Looks to me like it might stand for Dual Mode Camera referring to the two ways their O.I.S. (optical image stabilization) system works-in two ways or in dual mode. If I knew how to post a photo I would send a screen shot of their explanation. You can look it up on their web url-Panasonic.com. I suspect that the Pana person you spoke with didn't know either or at least not correctly! Thanks Bucky. |
