I have just bought a DSC-T9 and love it apart from one very large disappointment - the video quality.

Every video I take outdoors has large areas of blocking and pixelation, almost like on crimewatch where the faces are pixelated out. The indoor videoironically seems okay. It seems to be something to do with automatic light adjustment as skies are lovely and clear, but as soon as you pan down to say a garden you can see on the screen that the camera adjusts the lighting to make the garden brighter and it all goes to hell and high water. This is the same on both sunny and cloudy days.

I have tried fiddling with all of the video settings to no avail and am wondering if I have a faulty camera or whether the DSC-T9 is just like this.
