EXIF data for Canon A590

Hello, I'm looking for a type of „exif data viewer“ software for my newly acquired Canon A590. I`m currently using „Fast Stone Image Viewer“....it's fine, I don't have a problem with it, but I was wondering if there's anything out there that shows, for instance, if a photograph was taken using „Landscape“ or „Foliage“, different lighting settings etc. in the properties tab.If anybody has any ideas, much obliged.

If you're using Windows, I'd try PhotoME (and it will run under Wine in linux, too). Get it here (and personally, I just use the beta version, which is the first download link). It might have the data you're looking for (it has more than many EXIF readers):

PhotoME will work as a stand alone applicaton. But, after you install PhotoME, you can also install a Firefox extension that lets you load it from within Firefox after you right click on an image. Get that extension for it here:

A great product with loads of information about photos is ExifTool by Phil Harvey. It's not a browser plugin, but it's a really nice tool for seeing a lot of metadata in images.

You can also find a GUI front end for it (but, you may need to rename the extracted .exe from exiftool(-k).exe to exiftool.exe before this GUI will be able to call it.

Jeffrey's EXIF viewer is an online tool you may want to try:

Do you have the software that came with the camera? I believe Canon's ZoomBrowser will also give you the information you are looking for.
