Hi! Long time since I've been here...

Anyway, I accidently took a movie clip instead of a photo with my Nikon 2200..

I'd like to extract or save a frame of this as I took no other pix of these people..

Is there any freeware that would allow me to do this? Or shareware under trial that would?

Thanks for any help!

And I posted here as not sure exactly which sub-forum would be best...if wrong, sorry.

You can take a look at download.com for example, searching for "extracting frame " etc ...
You can filter the results as free or shareware licence.

another way is to play the movie on your PC, and capture simply with "Print screen" key, the whole screen is then captured in the clipboard, just paste it in your favorite photo editor.

Part of reason why I asked question was IF someone here had actual experience with a specific product...I've been fooled too often by software that claims to do certain funtions but doesn't....plus un-doing test/demo/trial stuff is a real PITA!
