I am having problems with my Lexar Multi Card Reader. It reads my 64 mb and 512mb cards with no problem. Yet it freezes my Mac when I insert a Sandisk 1.0 GB card. I need these files. Any ideas? Thank you.

Can you see the pictures in your camera? Can you attach your camera to your computer and download the pictures that way? Not perfect, but at least you could get the shots and perhaps then formatting the card would resolve the problem.

Hi mdparker. Yes, I can get them directly through the camera USB port...but bit of a pain. Now the latest. I have since purchased a Sandisk Image Mate reader. This one sees all the files on my desltop, yet when I drag them into PhotoShop the files are "damaged and truncated"!!
This happens on both computers. Yet when I drag them into ANY other programme the files are fine. Very starnge...I have tried all combinations yet it seems to be a combination of the Sandisk reader and PhotoShop.
