I am having problems focussing my Olympus C-770.
Sometimes when I try to take a photo it will not focus on what we're trying to take the picture of - other times it will. I thought I may have been to close to the subjectbut even when I try at a further distance it's still the same. Mind you it doesn't happen to all my pictures just now and again. |

Everyone has occasional focus problems. The camera is looking for contrasting edges somwhere in the scene. Sometimes it picks a focal point outside where the photographer intends. Many of us use spot focus mode to be sure the focus is where we want. If the camera doesn't give a focus lock indication in spot mode, try focusing on something at the same distance as your intended subject, and use half-press of shutter to lock the focus, and then reframe.
