Default getting movie on line?

Hi all,
I just got a Cannon Power Shot A40 camera. I love it!

Now can anyone tell me if it's possible to get a short movie clip on the internet? I can upload one to my web hosting service but I have no clue how to get it to play. So far, I got one still image, and one that looks like martian hyrogliphics. It plays fine directly on my computer with Quick time.

Need some help here. I am sure this can be done. I've seen quick time movie clips on line before. How how how???

Sometimes it's a setup issue with your web host provider. They may need to set the correct MIME type for Quicktime files.

Also, what are you using to upload it to your site? Are you uploading in Binary or ASKII mode? Probably should be Binary. Maybe the file is getting corrupt in the upload.

Who is your Web Host? Maybe they don't support streaming or playing the movie from the site, but the users should be able to download the file and play it directly on their computer like you do. You may need to read through their tech support library. Or maybe email them.
