Default A good replacement for my Olympus C-3000

I recently sold my Olumpus C-3000. It was a little too much for me as all I need is to take pictures of my kids. Even though picture quality was great I didn't like the long shot-to-shot times, as most of the time I want candid shots of my kids, rather than having them pose for the camera.

I'm now shopping for a replacement with the following things in mind:
* I don't really need very advanced controls, although it'd be nice to have several "modes" or pre-set controls for different situations
* I still want great picture quality (color) and good focusing without having to try too hard
* The camera needs to be good for indoor shots as this is what I need most of the time

Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

You could try the Olympus C50Z, 5mp and 3x optical zoom. The one drawback for this camera is the proprietary rechargeable battery. You can purchase a second battery source from Olympus for $70.
